“It Is a Dangerous Situation. Students Have Fainted Before!”

Nearly none of our classrooms have air-conditioning. Boards no longer have the money to put in air conditioning for our students. Anyone who has been an unairconditioned room during the deep days of summer will know that this is unbearable, unhealthy, and impossible to learn or teach in.

Students cannot focus, nor concentrate, let alone learn when the temperature is 40+. It is a dangerous situation. Students have fainted before!

Schools need to be properly funded so that we can have a safe and conducive environment for learning.
