“Ford and Lecce Are Robbing Children of This Opportunity.”

As a teacher, I can see the impact of underfunded schools in my classroom on a daily basis. Most recently, I have noticed fieldtrips to be almost impossible to have. School budgets are razor-thin and we are asking students to pay more and more of the costs which isolates many students and puts a strain on parents. Further, the lack of supply teachers make fieldtrips that do happen very difficult to cover and plan. Hands-on experiential learning is an important aspect of high school and Ford and Lecce are robbing children of this opportunity.
