“No One is Available to Support Me.”

I am teaching Grade 1 this year and have 23 students which is over the 20-limit cap. 2 students with autism and 2 students with behavioural needs. Our school has 1 full-time Special Needs Assistant (SNA) and 1 half-time SNA but that’s simply not enough for our entire school. When there is chair throwing, aggressive shouting or major disruptions, I call for assistance but am told that no one is available to come and support me and my students.

Have you ever wanted to create something magnificent? Me too. Then I discovered Twitter. My plans failed. Miserably.
